Replace your Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM or EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS III USM lens's original foot with the versatile SmallRig Tripod Mount Ring. The aluminum-constructed ring attaches toward the rear of the lens, and the interior of the ring contains rubber padding to prevent scratches to the lens's body. Releasing the side locking knob allows you to rotate the lens on its axis in a horizontal or vertical position. Toward the back of the foot, a secondary knob can be unlocked and acts as a quick release to detach the ring along with the lens from the foot.

The lens mounting foot is compatible with most Arca-type heads and clamps on the market, and if no quick release system is available, the lens foot provides a 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 mounting option as well. The removable wooden grip on the top side of foot provides ergonomic comfort while carrying the lens. Positioning scales located on the sides of the foot help you to position and reposition the foot when you find the balance point of the lens.

SmallRig Tripod Mount Ring BSL2361 is specially designed and made for Canon 70-200mm lens(EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM & EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS III USM) with the purpose of supporting lens. The support ring can tightly connect to the lens through the M5 Screw. In addition, the interior design pad of the ring is aimed at avoiding damage of lens. The construction between base plate and ring is an anti-off device, but they could also quick-release easily. At the bottom of the product, this lens tripod ring has an Arca plate design with 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 screw holes that could connect with a quick-release plate or tripod. Surely, the anti-off device design at the bottom of the ring is also a feature that cannot be ignored. It is obvious that the strap hole at the bottom could be used for installing straps. Furthermore, the quick release plate has a part of the wooden design that is comfortable for holding. Finally, there are scale plates on the two sides of the base plate that bring convenience to record the displacement slide of the lens, which could increase lens stability.
